What personal information do we collect from the people who visit our websites?

We collect information from you when you register on our site or enter information about yourself on our site.

We also collect the following data only for your own personal use (this is not viewable by any administrators or moderators) when you create, update, trash, restore from trash, permanently delete a post, or you log in, log out, change your profile settings, create a ticket, update a ticket, reply to a ticket, post a comment: the date of the action and the site (Gamerz/Linkyou), the ID of the post/comment/ticket. When you do the actions listed above, we neither record your IP address, nor your browser information.

We collect only relevant data for the other registered members who are getting notified of your action:
– When you submit a comment the author of the post will get notified,
– When you reply to a comment the author of the previous comment will get notified,
– When you send a private message, the recipient will get a notification,
– When you reply to the ticket the involved administrators and moderators will get a notification.
We record the following relevant pieces of data for the use of the recipient (for instance, the author of the post who received a comment): your user ID, the ID of the post/comment/ticket, the time the action took place and the name of the site (Gamerz/Linkyou) in order to notify them of your action and provide a better user experience. When you do the actions listed above, we neither record your IP address, nor your browser information.

When do we collect information?

When you register on our sites, as appropriate, you are asked to enter your email address to help you with your user experience.

If you want to update, change or remove your user information, you can visit anytime your Profile Settings page.

How do we use the information?

How do we protect your information?

How long do we store your information?

Does the sites use cookies?

Yes, for user authentication. According to CalOPPA we agree to the following:

Users are allowed to visit our sites anonymously.
Once this Privacy Policy is created, we will add a link to it on our home page, or as a minimum on the first significant page after entering our websites.
